up north trip part 2
Im back home from Canada and I finally have a chance to type a little bit about my experience. My trip was amazing, i cant wait to go back. Canada is definitely a place worth visiting. They take really good care of their people and artists especially. Big ups to the Canadian government. A couple friends of mine up north had received grants worth 20 thousand dollars to shoot music videos…. DAMN!!! 20K…. thats whats up, only in Canadia!!! I found out that Chachi is slang for Cocaine up north… i guess thats why my t-shirts were flying off the merch table… i aint hatin. Canada is cool in my book eh! Thank you to everyone out there that showed me love. Dope emcees up North too… I got put on to some cats that are really putting it on and i hope to bring them down here and put you on… whoever you are. Stay tuned and keep reading. Ill keep writing even if its for my own personal enjoyment… which it is. Its late and way past my bedtime… i think? Goodnight. I love you Canada.
UP NORTH TRIP part 1
whats up people? Im in Canada right now and really enjoying the trip. Its been very insightful and relaxing. The ride up was probably one of the most eye opening conversations ive had in a while with Joey Beats and Blak. By the time we arrived at the border we didnt even realize that the whole ride we didnt even turn on the radio. Thats strange for 3 musicians… eh? Once we arrived at customs… thats when the “fun” started. Dont ever try to bring anything stupid over the Canadian border… they are all trained assasins!!!(lol) after about 2 hours of questions and searches, they realized we were just some guys coming to Canadia to have a good time… and we were off. Me and Blak spent most of the first day discussing the end of the world as we know it, (2012)… google it! We rocked our first show last night at club Elixir in Kingston Ontario.Everyone had some really energetic sets… check out Canada”s own Atherton, S-Cape and Spesh K… good bruddas! Today we head to London Ontario for show number 2 Eh? Ill be back with more news from the north side of things. Its not as cold as people were tellin me… People here are very hospitable (so far). Ive officially picked up the accent so ill be back Eh…
GRINDIN!!!
Im gettin ready for a busy week… I have so many things to do and not enough time to do them all so i must learn to prioritize… what the hell does that mean? exactly!!! Im gonna keep grindin!!! Each day i wake up and i thank GOD for the opportunity to breathe and be creative. I suggest you do the same. I have a show this friday April 4th at Trinity College for the Trinity international hip hop festival. I also have a show this saturday April 5th at AS220 in Providence. On sunday will be my send off party at The Blackstone before i take off for Canada eh… on monday with Joey Beats. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! I gotta get my merch together and do a bunch of other silly little things that take up time and energy like pack. I hate packing. I hope i have a good trip. Im excited about meeting some new potential fans… lets see what happens. Ill keep yall posted. Does anyone even read this site?
